IN YOUR NOVEMBER ISSUE OF LDN - LONDON IN SHORT...

The West Ham stadium inquiry claimed its first scalp just hours after the review into the costs of the stadium conversion was announced. The airport expansion saga continues, triggering a by-election in Richmond next month, while the latest Shadow Cabinet Reshuffle proved bountiful for London MPs.  Meanwhile two Tory MPs have now stood down – Zac Goldsmith over the Heathrow decision and Stephen Phillips over Brexit.  Are the odds on an early General Election suddenly shortening?

Also in this edition, we assess an extremely busy month for one London hospital, as a select few ignore the warnings of NHS England to publish major service plans. And as nighthawks prepare to ride the Piccadilly and Northern lines at all hours, the news that the artistic director of the Globe will soon be leaving has all the hallmarks of a Shakespearean drama.

To all our subscribers, as ever we hope you enjoy this latest issue of LDN and for those new to the magazine, you can subscribe to this and future editions here.
