Elinor (or El as we know her in the office) joined LCA as Account Executive in 2019, having previously worked at a leading planning consultancy. Through her experience, El has supported planning applications for a range of projects for new homes, offices, hotels and even a wind farm, developing a good knowledge of the planning system.
El graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Human Geography from Cardiff University in 2017, which focused on topics of regeneration and urban politics. El is particularly passionate about enhancing people’s connection with place and involving people in the development of their area and this is what motivates her every day in her work for clients.
Since joining LCA, El has built upon her understanding of planning and developed a strong knowledge of community engagement. Supporting culturally important projects such as the Museum of London, large regeneration schemes such as the Barnsbury Estate with Newlon Housing, mixed-use schemes in the heart of London such as 8 Albert Embankment with U+I and The London Fire Brigade and council led schemes for London boroughs such as Westminster City Council.
At LCA El has also begun work on exciting projects in our growing consumer and lifestyle portfolio, gaining experience of placemaking communications and media relations. El currently works on one of the UK’s largest regeneration projects, King’s Cross, working with the team at Argent to deliver creative content across their social media platforms including twitter, Instagram and Facebook promoting the capitals newest must-visit neighbourhood. El is also part of LCA’s Team Savvy, looking after the company’s social media channels.
El currently works with Argent (King’s Cross), Newlon Housing Trust, Stride Treglown, urbanest, Westminster City Council and others.
As a geographer El loves to explore new places, most recently travelling to Sri Lanka although never forgetting her Welsh roots! Outside of the office, El can be found exploring her new home city of London with friends and occasionally training for her next Half Marathon. Els challenge for 2020 is to learn Italian.
