On Monday 23 May, we were thrilled to announce that six long standing senior colleagues – Duncan Hepburn, Helena Carrie, Jenna Goldberg, Natalia Musial, Sam Emery and Suzi Lawrence – have become shareholders in the company after exercising share options which had been granted to them, and will joining existing shareholders – Jonny Popper, Jane Groom, Chris Madel & Robert Gordon Clark.

We have also introduced a Managing Director tier, which reflects the internal restructuring we have recently completed and to be clearer about our job roles and the services we provide to clients.  Specifically:

  • Politics, Engagement and Planning, led by Jane Groom and Sam Emery, focuses mostly on project-based work to support planning applications for major developments led by the public and private sectors, alongside stakeholder and political engagement briefs.

  • Corporate, Consumer and Social, led by Chris Madel and Helena Carrie, spans reputation and crisis management, public affairs, integrated campaigns, media, social media and influencer engagement for clients across the built environment, infrastructure and culture sectors.

Both divisions are supported by:

  • Our Design Team, led by Design Director Grant Gillard.  Our growing studio works across print and digital to create content and materials, build websites and develop branding which clients are increasingly making use of for their wider corporate materials.  You can view our portfolio here.

  • Our Insight Team, led by Jenna Goldberg, ensures our work remains underpinned by our industry-leading research and intelligence.

  • Our Talent function, led by Suzi Lawrence, is focused on ensuring we recruit and retain the best talent around, with the skills and development to provide the highest possible quality of service for our clients.

  • Our Commercial Team, led by Natalia Musial, manages all our finance functions and works with our clients and partners to establish seamless commercial relationships.

LCA will now have ten shareholders, all of whom have been with the company ten years or more, playing an instrumental role in delivering great work for our clients.  These are:

At the same time, we also confirmed that Sarah Rawlings is moving to a Senior Advisor role – alongside Robert Gordon Clark and Paddy Hennessy.  Sarah will remain working four days a week for the agency, focussing on growing our retained work with architecture and professional service firms.

Our team is now over 60 strong and, working with a growing client list to engage local communities, navigate complex political and stakeholder environments and promote brands, places and spaces.  With the challenges and uncertainties we are all facing today, good communications has never been more important, and I believe the skills we provide to our clients adds real value.

Congratulations to those colleagues who have just become shareholders and we are excited for the future.
